Date of Last Insurance

Your “Date of Last Insurance”, or “DLI”, is an important date that can affect your ability to collect Social Security Disability Insurance.

If you have been asked to find out your Date of Last Insurance, please call 1-800 772-1213 and speak to a representative for SSA.

Once you have your DLI, please give us a call at 480 420-7887, or email your DLI to info@desertdisability.com.

Why is this Important?

To be eligible for Social Security Disability Insurance (“SSDI”) benefits, a person with lawful status in the United States must have worked and paid taxes for at least 5 out of the past 10 years.

To be approved for SSDI, you must prove to SSA that your severe impairment was diagnosed before your DLI.

If you have been denied disability benefits or need representation at a hearing, contact Desert Disability® today. Our experienced legal team is ready to help you navigate the complex disability claims process and fight for the benefits you deserve. Schedule a free consultation and let us start working on your case.
